Beyond the Madlib (but just barely)

This is a talk I gave at the inaugural Roguelike Celebration in 2016 in San Francisco. It's about the use of procedural text generation in Kingdom of Loathing, and how our tools and techniques evolved over time.

Kingdom of Loathing isn't a roguelike, but I think they were a little bit starved for talks when they were just getting started.
